Jancis praises Ridgeview as a "rustic Bollinger"
Jancis Robinson in the Financial Times June 25th selects her Summer Wines and first up is Ridgeview, Knightsbridge Merret Blanc de Noir Brut 2006 England. Jancis comments; "England’s vinous glory: fizz made in the image of champagne. Alluring and zesty – a sort of rustic Bollinger".
Best Wine of the Year two years in a row
We are thrilled to announce that our first ever Magnum release has just been awarded English Wine of the Year 2010 and the Trophy for Best Presented and Best Sparkling in the United Kingdom Vineyard Association Competition. This is the second year in a row Ridgeview has been awarded the Gore-Browne Trophy for Best Wine, taking it to a total of 4 times in just 10 years of sales. Ridgeview Magnum Blanc de Blancs is now available for purchase and disgorged to order direct from the winery.
